A blond human teenager PINpoints into the Nexus in company of a familiar six foot tall mint green Cybertronian sparkling, then grins slightly and tells the young femme to go ahead and check the miniature city built by Rock so long ago. She watches Honey go, then turns and, skipping several couches, sits herself very carefully in a big easy chair. On closer glance anyone who looks will see that the side of her face is puffed and dark with bruises to the point that her eye is slightly swollen shut, that she's got an arm in some sort of futuristic but very extensive cast, and that she seems to be wearing some kind of body cast under her yellow Tshirt and denim vest. Since she's wearing modest cut offs one can also see that the bruising continues down her left leg.
She leans back with a sigh, then winces and squeaks before blinking her big blue eyes and looking around. "Hi, everybody. It's Bumblebee. I got LOL'd. And then Ratchet accidentally kicked me while I was sitting on the med bay floor."
Her good hand goes down to rub the little flower tattoo on her leg. "So... weirdest safe for work LOL you ever caught?"
You are feeling:
Kitty-Gen sees 'Bee and Honey, and thinks that they be needing a nuzzle.
Oddly enough, she's also answering Bumblebee's question.
Bee knows about Gen's LOL, but she hadn't even thought of it that way before.
Now she gasps softly and tries to steer her friend toward her less damaged side. "Not that arm... ow ow, here, I'll rub your ears."
And Honey looks up and twinkles her fingers before she resumes her caretaker's duties.
Gen ignores Bee as she crawls into her lap.
"Ouch...." Bee feels a little frightened, but then sighs with relief as Honey walks over and gently lifts their friend and gives her a hug and a kiss.
Gen squirms and 'mrow's trying to get away from the sudden grab.
Honey gently lowers her to the floor and then sits beside her, crooning softly and offering ear rubs as Bee apologizes and feels like a heel for rejecting Gen's efforts to sit on her.
The kitty-cat doesn't want to hear it, so she starts to wander off.
"Wait, Gen. I'm sorry." Bee pries herself out of the chair, only to bump her broken arm and wind up on her butt on the floor. "Ugh...."
Honey is worried now.
Victor looked up from her coffee pot, rewrapped her hands around it. "Do you want ice? I can get you ice."
She looks toward the other girl's voice with a lopsided grin. "Hey, Victor. Nah, it's past time for ice."
"Heya. And you've taken pills?" She stuck a straw right in the pot, sipped.
"Nah. Ratchet knows what pressure points to press on to suppress pain." She frowns slightly. "Dude... I don't remember you drinking that much of that stuff before."
"That's good! I could use that knowledge. For good, not evil. I'm a little stressed." Siiiiiiiiiiip.
Bee's expression of concern deepens. "What happened?"
"There's just a... um. I saw something I wish I didn't see. Don't worry about me, I'm the one who ought to be worried about you."
"Worried about me? Why? This is only a LOL. Ratch says the damage will fade when I change back."
Which doesn't stop her husband and son from worrying extensively, in the meantime.
Well... now this wasn't expected! "Bumblebee, what the...? Remind me to thwap Ratch when I see him next time."
"Okay. Right... non-embarrassing LOLs... that'd be the last one I had. I had a Haarst's Eagle for an alt-mode, and I was short, too."
She sighs, then carefully tips her head up so as to not make her neck hurt. "He's already thwapping himself. Haarst's Eagle...." She tries to access the 'Net and fails. "Um... what's that?"
No worries, Ata doesn't mind crouching for her. "Oh... I meant Haast's Eagle, sorry." A tad sheepish, here.
"I still don't know what it is," says Bee with embarrassment, though she smiles as her friend scrunches down. "I can't read the Multinets in this body."
She's fine with telling her what she knows about the eagle. "It's a huge type of Eagle that once lived on the south island of New Zealand... It's extinct now, though."
"Well that bites." Bee absently scratches at the edge of a bruise where the healing makes it itch.
"No kidding." Humans
a very young race, after all...
"Ah well." She looks a little pensive. "At least Earth still has
Still looking toward the positive. Forever Bee.
"Yep, true enough." Some things never change with Bumblebees, always optimistic.
