So, I want to know...

Oriana is sitting in an easy chair with her legs curled under herself, one hand holding a data pad with a complex 3D mystery novel on it, and the other hand holding a glowing orange and yellow drink. Beside her on the floor chibiOptimus is intent on a colouring book, though he pauses for occasional slurps at the big mug of bio diesel that's sitting next to him.
The blond Transformer reads for a few moments more, but then looks up with a slight smile. "You have a good book and a drink. What would they be? Please, keep the answers at a proper level for Optimus to hear."
You are feeling:

cuppa tea and a sit-down
ummm... depends on my mood.
right now, something escapist, like a conan book. something totally ridiculous and entertaining. and chai.

Re: cuppa tea and a sit-down
Oriana smiles at him and thanks him for answering.
"What sort of mystery do you like best?" asks Oriana, looking up with interest.
"You'd probably like Cybertronian mystery novels, if they weren't impossible for a human to read." The blond looks at the datapad in her hand.
"Well... the story changes slightly depending on what part you choose to read, just like a real mystery would if you were walking through it. The outcome stays the same, though."
"Ah... I've never seen a choose your own adventure book," admits Oriana, blinking.
"So they're like a role playing game?"
"I've never played those games, only heard human friends talk abut them... but it does sound slightly similar." Oriana nods thoughtfully.
"I used to live in something similar. I don't think I'd be able to enjoy them as a pastime."
Oriana smiles, then looks down as her little brother notices the human girl and sits up.
"Hi!" chirps the chibi. "I'm Optimus, 'n that's my big sister. Who're you?"
He sits and looks up at her for a moment, holding onto his toes. Then, "I useta be bigger."
"But then I got in a fight, and I died, and I came here and I was little." He blinks and looks around for that last coloured pencil he'd been using.
"Yes," says Oriana softly, watching as her little brother takes it with a happy ^_^. "Oh, my name's Oriana Pax."
Another Optimus, with an even weirder story :p
The blond woman looks (and even scans) perfectly human, but there is a slight tingle to her hand as she takes Maya's, and a slight strangeness to the feel of it.
"Are you from Earth?" she asks as she takes it back and sets it on her lap.
"I live on an Earth," says Oriana. "But yes, I was created on a Cybertron."
She looks down at her little brother, who is busy colouring again. "I'm an Optimus myself... or the clone of one."
She shrugs. "In my native reality Optimus Prime was Optimus Prima. And after her final battle with Megatron a sliver of her spark was taken by the Autobot mainframe and cared for till it gained sentience and then grew till it could live on its own. Once I reached that state Teletraan gave me a body of hard light and sent me here."
Oriana nods, her face more sober as she remembers the confusion and fear of those first days on her own.
"Yes." Her slight smile returns. "I was just remembering something. I'm fine."
"I am." She gently pats her foot against Optimus' back, her expression fond.
"A book on building robots and coffee, preferably fresh but I don't mind old." She waved her coffee mug around to emphasize that. The stuff in there was old enough so that if hours were years, her coffee would be able to drink alcohol legally in the United States. Victor peered at Optimus, interested.
"Building robots?" Orian's brows quirk quizzically.
Optimus, for his part, is intensely intent on getting the colour just right
on one part of his picture.
"Yeah, I'm trying to learn. I kinda suck at it, but...."
Oh, Victor certainly knew that feeling! She tugged out her sketchbook, speculated absently as to how Optimus worked (what motor would go where for maximum efficiency, good power sources, et cetera.)
"Have you asked any of the Ratchets or Wheeljacks who visit the Nexus?" Oriana absently puts a foot on her baby brother's back, and he gives her a quick 'grin' before resuming his work.
"I haven't yet. I'm worried they might consider it a bit of a... disrespectful inquiry and I'm not sure if I'm ready for something as advanced as what they'd be used to." She sketched out a quick outline of Optimus.
"Advanced?" Oriana's a little lost.
"Yeah. I don't know much beyond simple circuitry and welding."
Her slight smile returns. "From what I remember of them they are very patient teachers."
"That's cool. Ah, I sorta mean that and I'm not sure whether I'm ready to have responsibility for someone that's like them, you know?" She wasn't sure if she'd feel right having a robot that had a soul. It would be like having a child, and she wasn't prepared for that.
"They know how to build drones too." Her drink winks out of sight as she forgets about it.
She took a gulp of her coffee. Mmmmmm
room temperature! "Hey, that'd rock."
Oriana smiles, then introduces herself. "I'm Oriana Pax. This is my little brother Optimus."
"Hi," says the chibi absently, intent on blending two colours into an interesting shade of greyish pinkish blue.
"For me, herbal tea and a good fantasy novel."
Oriana's smile grows a little. "Do you have a favorite author?"
