A sixteen foot tall cobalt blue mech turns his head toward the question and seems to grin. "Gently, man. Especially if they smaller than you."
Blues looks way up then simply gives a nod in greeting. The kid has yet to notice that those mech legs belong to someone and glances around, looking for the source of the voice. "Yeah, wouldn't want to....hurt the kid." But that didn't explain what he was suppose to do about being followed everywhere he went.
The mech hunkers down, exposing the fact that there's a smaller, mint green mech clinging to his back and peeking over his shoulder. "Yeah. He doin' the tagalong?"
"Yup. Whether I like it or not. Who ya got there?" The little kind sees the bigger mechs now and makes a surprised squeak. Then, looking to his big brother, he tugs on the scarf and points as if he's just discovered them. Blues glances back and forth a few times, confused. He really doesn't get the kid.
"My older sister, Honey." The blue one chuckles. "She self programmed, so she don' talk yet."
Then he studies the little guy as Honey waves over his shoulder and beeps. "Everythin's excitin' when you new."
He grins and shakes his head in amusement.
"True. But-" He sighs as there's another tug on his scarf. "What do you want, Rock?" Rock's still pointing but now it's more to the little mech. "Like that, please?" Blues gives the bigger mech a look. "Think you could help me translate that?"
He settles down to sit cross-legged, and Honey climbs up to sit on his shoulder. "He wants ta ride on your back, like Honey Bee was doin'."
Honey laughs and jumps down to hunker and look at Rock more closely. She's met another Rock, back when she was just new.
"Oh yeah," her brother blinks, then looks like he's grinning. "I'm Rap. Gotta remember the manners."
"That right?" Another odd look to the kid. "Yes! Please?" Rock bounces. "Well....all right." After Blues sits so Rock can climb up, the kid wraps his arms around Blues neck and peers over his shoulder.
Standing again, Blues shifts as he gets used to having someone ride on him. "...'m Blues."
Rock continues to stare in wonder at the large mechs before whispering something to his brother. "Yes, you can talk to them," is the answer along with an eye roll. "Hi!"
"Hey, man." Rap chuckles, then shakes his head as Honey very gently beeps Rock's nose before standing up to her full, wispy, six foot height and looking around alertly. "Blues... that's a kinda music, ain't it?"
Eyes widen at the nose beeping and there's another squeak before Rock questions the action. "What?" And Blues goes very still when the little mech reaches over but shakes any worry he had off quickly.
"Yup. And with Rock here and his twin sis at home going by Roll, it makes me think Pop's got a theme going."
"Bbbb!" she tells Rock, then giggles and holds out her hands to him.
"She won't hurt ya," says Rap soothingly. "Couldn', anyway, there's an Anti-Violence field 'roun' here." Then he grins. "Our mama 'n daddy're Bumblebee 'n Jazz."
Rock can't do anything about the hands, his own holding him up but he does repeat her.
"There are more threats in the world then being harmed. But that is good to know." He snerks. "Your family has two themes going."
That gets him a giggle and a raspberry sound as she twinkles her fingers and plays 'Twinkle, twinkle, little star' on her radio.
"Yup." Rap 'grins', but then sobers. "There are?"
Rock laughs and pulls himself to lay over Blues' shoulder so he can copy Honey. Blues just shifts his weight as he's climbed on.
"We ain't doin' that, either. We're Autobots." The way he says it makes it sound as though he's saying, "We're the good guys, we stop stuff like that."
Honey makes a ^_^, then leans over and puts her moth to Rock's forehead. He gets the tiniest of tingly shocks from the kiss.
